The summer is the ideal time to enjoy the cool Channel water in Le Havre !

As a family owned business, we adapt our recommendations to everybody : from the little ones to the not so little ! We know that it might not always be easy to find activities to please an entire family group.

But it’s alright since summer activities are flourishing in Le Havre !

For the 0 to 3 yo : discover the Channel. The sea marvels the little ones looking for sea creatures and those looking to build the best sandcastle (or in this case, stone castle !). Try the Ortiz’ ice creams, a reknown establishment at Le Havre !

For the 3 to 6 yo : Lire à la Plage cabins. Those cabins offer many different craft or reading activities for the children (and the adults too), don’t miss the fairytale readings and other great activites everyweek ! Enoy a calm moment with everyone by the beach.

For the 6 to 10 yo : the tide gauge. It’s a new invention from the festival Un Eté au Havre, climb the 17 floors of the Hotel de Ville tower and discover Le Havre thourgh its tides. This art is live catching the sound and the rythm of the port’s tides. This activity will hypnotise and amaze everybody !

For the 10 to 15 yo : water-polo summer tour. Aim high with this unique activity. At the Bains Maritimes, discover this water sport installed by the Swim French Federation !

For the 15 to 18 yo : slide into the weekend. Taking place on the last August weekend, the Le Havre big urban slide festival will amaze you. BMX, skateboard, rollerblades will be competing to offer you the greatest outdoor spectacle !

For the +18 yo : port 2000 discovery. Sail to discover the grand maritime port of Le Havre with Vedettes Baie de Seine, and observe the Sea Giants ! Price : 17 euros for an adult and 13 euros for a child between 4 and 12, free for children under 4.

For everybody : Montgeon Forest’ Treetop Adventure Course is offering an intense and fun activity all summer ! Many different paths exist, in accordance to each and everyone’s level of grit !
