The Trans Atlantic Race : a prestigious event anchored in Le Havre.

For its 17th edition the Trans Atlantic Café L’Or race will be leaving from Le Havre on October 26th. Over 10 days, our city will welcome a lot of festivities, including the Race village with demonstrations, greetings with professionnals, exhibitions, introduction to sailing, etc.

For the time of the event, Le Havre is becoming the heart of a nautical spectacle, with 72 skippers duo — 144 skippers in total — divided in four classes : Ultim, Ocean Fifty, IMOCA and Class40. Starters will keep going every 15 minutes to put in light every flottila and offer a maritime spectacle. Every class will follow a specific path, with the same finishing line : Fort-de-France (Martinique Island), with key passage like Pot-au-Noir.

Simultaneously, the organization aims towards a more responsible event : mandatory return with sailing (no cargo), limited motorized boats, promotion of green transports for the visitors, etc.

This event is gathering professionnals, amateurs and simply curious visitors. As a conciergerie, we are proud to offer housing to those who will animate and visit the Race village. We have an occupancy rate around 95% !
